Closed#358: Use port 443 for HTTPS in Dynamic XML DS

As discovered in thread 47389, Symphony fails to load HTTPS URLs as Dynamic XML data sources unless port :443 is explicitly specified in the URL. This seems related to issues 150, 158 and 338 and it might be fixed somewhere on an integration branch, but I’ve experienced the problem both on 2.0.7 and 2.0.8RC3.

If a HTTPS URL is specified as a source, it should automatically be loaded over port 443.

I cannot reproduce this problem, however, I have a suspicion it is because you do not have CURL available. Can you check? If that is the case, the gateway class is trying to use sockets and unlike curl, it requires that you explicitly set the port.

I have pushed a change that will attempt to figure out the port when using sockets. See if that helps.
