Closed#602: Installer is throwing errors related to DateTimeObj class

I'm getting the following error when trying to install the latest commit from integration branch:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'DateTime::__construct(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Los_Angeles' for 'PDT/-7.0/DST' instead' in /Users/stephen/Sites/sym/integration/symphony/lib/core/class.datetimeobj.php:97 Stack trace: #0 /Users/stephen/Sites/sym/integration/symphony/lib/core/class.datetimeobj.php(97): DateTime->__construct() #1 /Users/stephen/Sites/sym/integration/symphony/lib/core/class.datetimeobj.php(73): DateTimeObj::format('now', 'c', false, NULL) #2 /Users/stephen/Sites/sym/integration/symphony/lib/core/class.log.php(271): DateTimeObj::get('c') #3 /Users/stephen/Sites/sym/integration/symphony/lib/toolkit/include.install.php(312): Log->open('OVERRIDE') #4 /Users/stephen/Sites/sym/integration/symphony/lib/toolkit/in in /Users/stephen/Sites/sym/integration/symphony/lib/core/class.datetimeobj.php on line 97

I'm having to revert back to Symphony 2.2 to install, then update to 2.2.1.

This issue is closed.
