Date filetering on a DS using later than and earlier than doesn't seem to include the time when filtering anymore. It seemed to work just fine in 2.2.

After updating to 2.2.1, my date filter using later than and earlier than on my current entry doesn't pull entries with a date on the same day. It skips them and finds the next entry posted on the next or previous day.

I think the date filter for later than and earlier than should compare time down to the second.

equal to or later than should do what you're after. Can you be a little more specific with what filter you are using on the datasource?

@brendo: I was filtering on the current entry's date parameter, so it looked like this: later than {$ds-section-entry-current}.

I think when using later than and earlier than it should literally do that. I shouldn't have to include the current entry and filter it out using XSLT.

I know this might seem a little odd, but I'm putting this on the backburner until after Symphony 2.2.2 Beta 1 has been released. I believe Issue #625 could be affecting this bug (and the similar #628) so in an effort to reduce the amount of testing and back and forth trying to recreate scenarios, I'd prefer to wait so we can all start on the same page with Beta 1.

This will be solved for the 2.2.2 Final though, don't worry about that!
