Hi,

Is there any requirement in the server end to install symphony in IIS server.

Symphony is not officially supported in Windows at all. Symphony's requirements are Apache or Litespeed, so if you must runa Windows server then you should run Symphony on Apache and not IIS. Provided you have PHP running through IIS, Symphony might work, but you'll need to configure the .htaccess rules manually on your server, since IIS doesn't support htaccess rewrites.

Symphony on IIS is a fool's errand in my opinion.

thanks for ur response

Don't be so harsh on IIS Nick :)

You can use Helicon ISAPI Rewrite to support .htaccess files in IIS. The company I work for is using the free Lite edition to serve over 10.000.000 pageviews a day.
