CacheLite
Simple frontend caching with CacheLite
Closed#1: Returns Symphony Warning page on all site pages when enabled and on preferences page in Symphony
Hmm, it looks as though it’s failed to create the cachelite-excluded-pages
file. Perhaps the permissions on the /manifest
directory didn’t allow that on installation. If you create the file manually (empty is fine) does it work?
Sorry for the delay in response. I’d completely forgot to check this.
I created the file as you suggested and that has fixed the website, but not Symphony’s Preferences page.
I’ve also updated to 2.0.7RC2 just in case but that doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Now I get a new sort of error on the preferences page. I’ve attached it below.
Do you still get the error above on the official 2.0.7 release? I can’t seem to replicate it.
Last I checked yes but this does not include the latest updates to CacheLite on GitHub. It’s on my to-do list of things to check tomorrow.
I’ve updated everything but I’m still getting an error. However, I have a few other Symphony related ones. I’m going to see if those are the cause, if not I’ll post the warning I get.
Thanks, that’d be great. I can’t replicate the problem on a clean install of 2.0.7
.
The home page is fine but the preferences page is still giving me an error. I’ve attached the error.
I just decided to play with this extension again. Continue to get the exact same error as the one I previously posted.
I’ve figured out how it can be replicated. Simply put, install the Subsection Manager extension and enable it. For some reason this extension causes CacheLite to go nuts.
I’ll be bugging Nils about this one, too.
This issue is closed.
Using the latest Symphony release (2.0.7RC1) if you install the latest CacheLite it causes a system warning.
Steps to recreate:
I’ve also attached the full error.
