I'm sorry, at the moment Twitter is a requirement as we are just importing a Twitter list. It was the intension to use the Members extension but as it hasn't yet been released we opted for the simplest solution. But hopefully Members will be finished soon (I've heard Michael reported tons of bugs over the last weeks, so not many should be left).
